About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, manage, and prioritize corporate- or division-wide IT support activities
  • Lead the Support Center team and ensure efficient execution of IT support processes
  • Manage complex projects, provide detailed analysis, and communicate problem-resolution efforts
  • Forecast resources to complete projects within scope, timeline, and budget
  • Participate in SWAT Team problem identification and resolution during critical outages and disaster recovery
  • Provide input on business continuity issues and improvements to supported systems and processes
  • Contribute to daily operations and strategic direction of the IT Infrastructure Organization
  • Coordinate communication and cooperation between the Support Center and other IT support groups
  • Implement and improve ITIL service management processes, including Change, Configuration, Problem, and Incident Management
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for up to 25 staff members across multiple geographic locations
  • Coordinate projects with other work groups and ensure timely completion
  • Develop technology programs and procedures for standardization, reliability, capacity planning, and performance tuning
  • Implement continuous service improvement and prevent recurring problems
  • Manage contract and service-level compliance for customers and vendors
  • Monitor and measure service effectiveness for internal and external customers
  • Meet with business management to understand issues, communicate team capabilities, and improve services
  • Collect and analyze statistical data, identify problem trends, and recommend proactive solutions
  • Coordinate computer-environment changes with supervisors and facilities management
  • Support disaster recovery testing, backups, and standards
  • Establish and maintain service-level agreements
  • Align tactical support resources with organizational strategy
  • Develop and manage assigned cost-center budgets
  • Ensure timely problem resolution and adherence to security, safety, and emergency procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Business and a minimum of five years of work related experience; or, in lieu of the college degree, a minimum of eight years of relevant work experience in the information systems field plus a minimum of four years in a leadership or management position
  • Six years of combined technology and/or Help Desk industry experience
  • Four years of progressively responsible leadership experience managing production and operations support teams
  • Ability to organize and direct the Cambia-wide Network Operations Center (NOC)
  • In-depth knowledge of information technology, procedures, security administration, and Problem Management practices
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and security administration
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions
  • Ability to present highly technical concepts and recommendations verbally and in writing
  • Negotiation abilities with customers, vendors and peers
  • Knowledge of finance/budget principles and practices
  • Project management skills, including organizing, planning, and executing projects through implementation
  • Technical troubleshooting, problem analysis, and problem resolution skills
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to negotiate competing resources and generate consensus
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement, three days per week in the office
  • Background check required
  • Personal mobile device required for MFA
