Key responsibilities & impact

Lead delivery of new products and enhancements to market
Apply project management methodology to align projects with business strategy, schedules, budgets, and customer requirements
Own project quality and timeliness across multiple concurrent projects
Develop estimates, plans, milestones, and project schedules
Track progress and proactively manage risks, issues, scope, resources, and variances
Serve as subject matter expert on new products and enhancements
Drive deliverable dates and hold business areas accountable for commitments
Lead multidisciplinary, high-performance project teams
Identify problems, mediate issues, and develop solutions
Partner with business sponsors, clients, and stakeholders
Mentor and develop project management skills in other project managers
Deliver projects to successful completion and resolve issues
Oversee multiple projects within budgetary constraints
Contribute to company project management methods and ensure adherence
Plan, direct, coordinate, and report project activities according to Enterprise Program Management Office policies
Manage project plans and present plans and status reports to leadership, project teams, and client/customer groups
Drive outcomes through planning, scope management, resource allocation, negotiation, risk mitigation, cost management, and stakeholder communication
Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify resources, and guide team members
Define, collect, and analyze metrics; recommend actions to maintain cost effectiveness and resolve problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of experience managing large and complex projects
At least one year of experience installing new insurance products and enhancements
Certificate in Project Management strongly preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong plus
Thorough understanding of the project life-cycle and product development lifecycle
Proven track record of moving complex projects through an organization while meeting budget, timeline, and requirement targets
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
Experience identifying problems, mediating issues, and implementing solutions
Experience identifying, assessing, and creating contingency plans for risks
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation
Experience presenting to all levels of management
Experience partnering with business sponsors, clients, and stakeholders
Experience with Product Development Lifecycle, Budgeting, Change Management, Client Management, Project Planning and Organization, and Risk Management
Experience with AI tools and technologies highly desired
Ability to work from a commutable distance to a listed office or willingness to relocate
Wired internet connection required for work-from-home option, with minimum 5Mb upload and 10Mb download speeds
Access to a personal mobile device required for MFA
Successful background check required
