Lead portfolio strategy and market positioning across six states
Integrate related product lines and translate complex market dynamics into actionable product strategy
Serve as a key liaison to senior leadership, employers, and producers
Partner strategically with the Director of Product Management and engage department and senior business leaders
Own portfolio performance and business outcomes
Identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, performance gaps, and corrective actions
Synthesize market intelligence, regulatory requirements, competitive dynamics, and customer insights into portfolio strategy
Define and track portfolio-level KPIs including enrollment, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction
Analyze product performance against strategic objectives and competitive benchmarks
Partner with actuarial, underwriting, sales, operations, and compliance teams
Secure resources and organizational alignment for strategic priorities
Ensure coherence across markets while respecting state-specific regulatory and market requirements
Mentor supporting product managers in strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and business acumen

What you’ll need

BA/BS in Business Administration or relevant field, with 10+ years' experience in a product management position in healthcare, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience directly aligned to the products being managed
MBA preferred
Experience managing product portfolios across multiple states or markets
Direct experience with self-funded/ASO product design and administration
Established relationships within employer or producer communities
Experience with AI tools and technologies
Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to synthesize complex information into clear direction
Deep expertise in commercial health insurance products
Proven track record developing and executing product strategies that drive measurable business results
Experience operating in multi-state regulatory environments with complex compliance requirements
Experience translating market dynamics and customer needs into actionable product strategy
Executive presence and communication skills for senior leadership and external stakeholder engagement
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
Ability to translate technical product details into strategic business language
Wired internet connection required for work-from-home option, with minimum 5Mb upload and 10Mb download speeds; satellite or cellular connections not accepted
