About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage work efforts from concept through close-out
Lead estimation, planning, scope management, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication
Develop delivery plans, schedules, measures, and milestones
Track and report tasks, deliverables, costs, resources, issues, and risks
Define and analyze metrics to keep work efforts on target
Present project status to leadership and stakeholders
Create and manage project documentation libraries, including schedules, budgets, quality plans, and communications
Oversee multiple work efforts simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery
Recommend cost-effective solutions
Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify resources, and guide team members
Ensure adherence to company project management methodologies and accepted standards
Serve as ScrumMaster for one or more Agile teams when needed
Participate as a key member in agile delivery
Manage key vendor relationships when needed
Resolve vendor and project problems within assignment scope
Proactively manage risks, issues, scope, and human resources throughout the delivery lifecycle
Lead teams to satisfy customer requirements and specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
Minimum seven years of progressive project management experience
Experience managing multiple, large-scale or highly complex projects concurrently
ScrumMaster Certification (CSM) or PMI-ACP certification preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
Experience working in larger, more complex organizations, including matrixed teams and established processes
Proven technical project management experience from planning through delivery
Experience partnering with cross-functional internal teams and managing external vendor relationships
Experience with projects involving multiple workstreams, dependencies, and competing priorities
Stakeholder management experience
Familiarity with the PMI Guide and PMBOK, including project lifecycle knowledge
High-level technical understanding of business requirements and project management principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage work efforts with minimal supervision
Ability to work with business sponsors and partners to identify and implement solutions
Ability to motivate teams and achieve defined deliverables
Ability to identify problems, mediate issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans
Demonstrated success meeting budget, timeline, and requirements targets and managing variances
Experience with Microsoft Office suite and automated project management software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, presenting, listening, and facilitating
Ability to identify milestone or deliverable delays and critical resource allocation issues
Understanding of agile delivery methodologies
Ability to manage medium-sized, moderately complex work efforts
Functional competencies in budgeting, change management, client management, methodology and business lifecycle, mission/vision/strategy, planning and organization, risk management, and agile delivery
Ability to manage large-scale, highly complex work efforts within budgetary guidelines
Strong leadership skills, including influencing without authority
Experience leading multidisciplinary, high-performance work teams
Experience mentoring and developing junior project managers
Experience with AI tools and technologies highly desired
Background check required
