About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assure completion and quality of all Business functional testing activities within a business work stream
Understand end-to-end business work streams from a business user's perspective
Review business, system, architecture, design, and preliminary test-plan documents to inform UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing
Define and prepare test data, execute tests, report results, submit defects, and verify fixes
Compile final testing documentation for Bundle Release and support go-live and post-implementation activities
Collaborate with peers, development partners, and Quality Assurance to ensure test coverage and efficient UAT execution
Identify quality goals, constraints, and risks and create plans, contingencies, and mitigation
Create UAT strategies, estimate resources and schedules, and manage complex UAT across Agile teams and projects
Lead business test activities as project manager for business-related quality efforts
Develop estimates, plans, schedules, measures, and milestones; track progress and manage risks, issues, scope, and resources
Lead UAT defect triage and prioritize testing based on business impact
Monitor UAT progress, remove obstacles, and report recommendations to project and senior management
Select, schedule, train, coach, and mentor Business Test Team members and UAT Quality Analysts
Serve as a business-area expert and information resource for Quality Assurance and UAT Analysts
Advise Product Owners on KPIs and use metrics to assess process effectiveness and quality
Initiate and drive process, practice, and tool improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of business, health insurance, or general health industry experience
7 years of experience defining and analyzing business requirements, process modeling, and acceptance testing
2 years of experience leading and delivering quality UAT for multiple complex corporate projects
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives for UAT
Extensive experience writing and running queries to support UAT activities
Knowledge of healthcare insurance domain and Facets
Experience in a supported functional area such as claims, membership, or customer service
Expert recognition in one or more business areas or Agile teams
Ability to create risk-based test cases and scripts with full functional coverage
Broad knowledge of testing techniques and industry-standard software development lifecycle practices
Ability to create UAT strategies and manage UAT across multiple Agile teams, business areas, and concurrent projects
Ability to validate test data, analyze production defect leakage, and measure results against KPIs
Complex workflow analysis and quality improvement skills
Knowledge of Agile and approved project management methodologies
Experience with programming languages, software tools, desktop applications, and AI tools highly desired
Strong cross-functional communication, problem-solving, collaboration, leadership, and independent working skills
Ability to report UAT status, metrics, issues, and risks to all management levels
Background check required
Must have access to a personal mobile device for MFA
