About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and cultivate professional relationships with external investment managers
  • Collaborate with investment managers to incorporate new investment ideas into internal databases
  • Apply TWR, IRR, and Modified Dietz investment data calculation methodologies
  • Review financial and legal documents, including balance sheets, statements of cash flows, factsheets, attribution exports, offering memorandums, and limited partnership agreements
  • Manage and update assigned investment-firm portfolios using internal databases and tools
  • Coordinate with investment operations, client teams, and research departments to fulfill requests
  • Investigate and resolve issues and exceptions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and oversight for outsourced data-entry functions
  • Develop and deliver training and documentation
  • Identify and implement process improvements to minimize risks and errors and improve efficiency
  • Use Excel to analyze data, generate insights, and support decision-making
  • Partner with IT to resolve technical issues and ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate on small projects and cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
  • 1–2 years of professional experience
  • Relevant professional experience in finance, operations, data management, data analysis, and/or process improvement
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong responsibility, accountability, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formulas and functions, conditional formatting, data validation, charts, and pivot tables
  • Experience with Box, Asana, and Confluence is a plus
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship now and in the future
