About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide expert condition assessment and asset health evaluation by analyzing maintenance and monitoring data from customer high-voltage assets, including transformers, circuit breakers, and rotating machines
  • Support development of models and algorithms for automated assessment of failure modes and prescriptive maintenance
  • Liaise between Asset Performance, Data Science, and software development teams
  • Test and validate models against historical and new condition-assessment data
  • Review and analyze customer data and prepare periodic customer online-monitoring reports
  • Prepare condition assessment reports for customer assets using online monitoring and maintenance test data
  • Manage and maintain consolidated customer datasets for fleet-trend analysis, risk reporting, and anomaly detection
  • Prepare templates, spreadsheets, and scripts to automate customer-data analysis and condition-assessment reporting
  • Research AI/ML applications and explore use of Camlin data to enhance Sapient Asset Insights
  • Author technical papers and articles on AI/ML applications and analytics for power-system assets
  • Develop industry expertise in asset data and analytics and AI/ML applications for power-system assets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a University or College of recognized standing
  • Relevant work experience in technical roles within the Energy industry will also be considered
  • Proficient in reading and interpretation of industry standards and guides
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
