About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and analyze substation asset data from customer maintenance and monitoring activities
- Prepare Condition Assessment reports supporting customer asset management programs
- Diagnose FMEA in substation assets and support automated analytics for failure mode detection and health assessment
- Advise customers on technical solutions, hardware, and software
- Leverage Camlin software technologies to prepare health assessment reports
- Support Product Management and Sales by identifying market opportunities and product challenges
- Represent Camlin Energy in technical committees and forums focused on high-voltage switchgear and circuit breakers
- Author industry articles and technical papers on substation asset monitoring and health condition assessment
- Deliver technical training on substation asset maintenance, FMEA, and related topics
- Interface with Product Management, Technology, Sales, and other cross-functional teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Five years engineering work experience, with at least 3 years in related work experience e.g. Asset maintenance, testing, or Commissioning
- Asset Management Engineering design or manufacturing of switchgear/circuit breakers
- Detailed equipment knowledge relating maintenance, inspection, testing, or troubleshooting and repair of circuit breakers/switchgear, power transformers, instrument transformers, or station batteries
- Proficient in reading and interpretation of industry standards and guides
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a University or College of recognized standing
