About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare cost estimates, construction budgets and construction schedules
  • Inspect worksites
  • Determine material, subcontractor and labor requirements
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings
  • Coordinate and direct all on-site activities of CAMP employees, subcontractors, craftsmen, tradesmen and vendors
  • Buy out jobs within an approved construction budget of less than $5,000
  • Assist the salesman/project manager with buy-out of jobs in excess of $5,000
  • Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and on budget
  • Review invoices and timesheets for accuracy and contract compliance
  • Travel to remote markets to prepare cost estimates, establish operations, and follow local building codes, means and methods
  • Identify, investigate and select local subcontractors and vendors
  • Keep costs low and quality high while contributing to CAMP’s success
  • Seek additional ways to achieve personal and corporate excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 75%
  • Construction experience required; multi-family preferred
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in NAV, ProCore, or Sage preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High sense of urgency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, including ability to work with a variety of subcontractors
  • High integrity
