About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents
  • Handle resident requests promptly and professionally
  • Help create a professional and welcoming office environment
  • Improve and maintain property curb appeal and cleanliness
  • Assist Managers with implementing and maintaining the annual marketing plan
  • Perform and record daily follow-up with prospects; identify ways to overcome obstacles and close deals
  • Maintain product knowledge of the property and competitors through market research
  • Establish, implement, and monitor leasing goals and renewal programs with the Manager
  • Clean the office, common areas, grounds, and apartments as needed
  • Fill in for other positions and assist with after-hours emergencies
  • Keep website, listing sites, social media, and marketing materials up to date
  • Assist with resident functions and events
  • Coordinate campus advertising events and partnerships with schools and student programs
  • Network with student housing professionals and monitor competitors
  • Maintain relationships with the school and community
  • Promote harmonious relations among residents, parents, staff, and the surrounding community while enforcing company policies
  • Conduct outreach on campus and at local businesses
  • Keep property management software accurate and up to date
  • Perform lease processing, administration, and other administrative duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two to Three years in a sales or customer service role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Entrata software
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to market and sell the community
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Passion for mentoring and team building
