About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Protect the firm’s environment by identifying cybersecurity concerns and improving technical security controls
Audit and review existing systems for threats
Confirm security solutions are working properly, including antivirus, firewalls, and IPS
Produce meaningful security reports using scripting and data modeling
Process SIEM-generated tickets and identify false positives for use cases
Work with technical teams globally to improve the firm’s security posture
Identify use cases that improve security stance
Support global operational team members with cyber incidents
Implement, tune, or manage Azure technologies, including Conditional Access and Labelling
Report to the Director of Enterprise Security

Requirements

What you’ll need

In-depth knowledge of Azure and Azure-based security modules, including Sentinel/Defender, Conditional Access, Azure Information Protection, and Fabric
Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention technologies, including database and AI controls
Knowledge of anti-malware and forensic technologies
Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or SANS
Seeking GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) designation
College diploma or university degree in English or a technical course such as Computer Science or Engineering
Knowledge of cybersecurity incident handling
Familiarity with security compliance, including technical controls, privacy, and encryption
Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002 controls preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Proof of Canadian citizenship, permanent residence, or eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions required for selected interview candidates
