About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Watch films, television programs, and audiovisual content to prepare topics and develop briefing sheets
  • Prepare detailed research briefs on guests and public figures
  • Monitor media, audiovisual, cultural, and digital news on a daily basis
  • Conduct documentary and image research to support interviews and programs
  • Create and update PowerPoint materials for shoots and interviews
  • Monitor social media, trends, public figures, and current affairs topics
  • Prepare the logistics and technical requirements for studio and on-location shoots
  • Support content production and manage audiovisual equipment
  • Accompany production teams during shoots and handle unforeseen issues
  • Update, organize, and monitor production archives and databases
  • Participate in the research, selection, and use of images and archival material
  • Independently organize assigned tasks and meet production deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a degree in journalism or film
  • Passion for media, television, and audiovisual content
  • Curiosity, resourcefulness, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in social media best practices and office software, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Basic technical knowledge of audiovisual production, including cameras, sound, and filming equipment
  • Good command of English
  • Initial experience, ideally in television, media, or production
  • Valid Category B driver's license
