About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and draft distribution and broadcasting agreements for the channels and radio stations included in CANAL+ offerings
- Draft and negotiate service agreements, executive production agreements, development agreements, co-production agreements, and rights acquisition agreements
- Audit contracts
- Contribute to revising and updating contract templates for rights acquisition and channel distribution
- Provide legal support to the digital business and CANAL+ Advertising
- Participate in synergies with the legal teams in English-speaking Africa
- Support and safeguard the activities of certain subsidiaries, primarily in Africa, on business law and business development matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in law or enrolled in the bar school
- Specialization in business law or economic law (distribution law, competition law, commercial law, audiovisual/regulatory law, intellectual property/ICT law, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English
- Organized, pragmatic, and rigorous
- Strong analytical and summarization skills
- Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills
- Dynamic and proactive
- Interest in the media industry and international business
