About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the CancerIQ platform
- Balance customer needs, market trends, clinical best practice, and business priorities
- Translate company strategy into a prioritized, well-sequenced roadmap and communicate trade-offs
- Define and track success metrics for shipped features
- Partner with clinical stakeholders to ensure product decisions reflect clinical workflows and constraints
- Translate clinical guidelines, payor policy, and industry trends into product requirements
- Partner with Engineering from discovery through launch to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Manage scope, sequencing, and trade-offs across concurrent initiatives
- Partner with Customer Success on feature adoption, onboarding, and change management
- Build go-to-market and rollout plans, including training materials, release notes, and in-app guidance
- Define and track adoption and usage metrics post-launch
- Run post-launch retrospectives and drive iteration or re-launch as needed
- Work with Sales and Marketing on positioning, key deals, roadmap, and competitive dynamics
- Conduct customer discovery, interviews, site visits, and workflow observation
- Analyze usage, adoption, and outcomes data to prioritize the roadmap
- Conduct market trend analysis across oncology care delivery, precision medicine, and health-system purchasing
- Monitor the competitive and regulatory landscape in hereditary cancer risk and precision oncology
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of shipping B2B or healthcare SaaS products end to end
- Experience working in oncology, cancer genetics, genetic testing, or a closely related clinical domain strongly preferred
- Comfort working directly with clinical and health-system stakeholders, including genetic counselors and service line leaders
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using data and market trend analysis to prioritize roadmap decisions and measure product impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical and technical concepts for varied audiences
- Experience with FHIR, EHR integrations, or other healthcare interoperability standards is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., life sciences, genetics, public health, business); advanced degree a plus
- Deep working knowledge of hereditary cancer risk assessment, genetic counseling workflows, and genetic testing pathways
- Knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines, payor policy, and industry trends in cancer genetics and screening
- Ability to write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Ability to manage scope, sequencing, and trade-offs across concurrent initiatives
