About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the accuracy and ongoing maintenance of databases, then distribute retailer panel (Circana) and consumer panel (Nielsen) reports
- Update reports and conduct ad hoc analyses
- Contribute to quantitative research projects, including innovation tests, packaging tests, advertising tests, and sensory studies
- Conduct qualitative research, from study organization through to the synthesis of findings
- Identify and synthesize consumer and shopper trends and insights
- Work with the research team and the marketing and sales teams across a cross-functional scope
- Contribute to the development of brand strategic plans and innovation initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+4/Bac+5 equivalent) at a business or marketing school, or an agricultural engineering school
- Previous experience (internship or work-study placement) in marketing or sales, ideally in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and synthesis skills, and confidence working with numbers
- Motivation to contribute to the development of brand strategic plans and innovation initiatives
- Interest in observing and understanding consumers
- Knowledge of retailer panels and ad hoc research is a plus
