About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with intake, review, and processing of asset-level data, including cost basis, valuations, and operating metrics
Review automated outputs, identify processing exceptions or anomalies, and escalate or resolve issues
Reconcile extraction data against source documents and manage conflicting data points
Serve as a subject matter expert for underlying asset data and support data manipulation and enrichment
Ensure high-quality output and standardize asset-level data points across the platform
Champion best practices, perform quality checks, and drive consistency across the team
Analyze data trends to inform product and service offerings and identify process improvement or automation opportunities
Identify technology and process improvements and assist in refining operating procedures
Document process notes, workflow rules, and exception-handling procedures
Collaborate with Data, Product, and Engineering teams on operational needs and product roadmap discussions
Support onshore and offshore delivery teams to ensure accurate and timely execution
Prepare operational summaries and asset data quality reports for client communications and onboarding

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, private market data, or a related financial services role
Internship experience in relevant fields will be considered
Strong familiarity with asset-level data points including cost basis, valuations, operating metrics, capital calls, distributions, and fund financial statements
Process-oriented and organized, with the ability to self-manage in a remote or hybrid work setting
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively across teams and time zones
Comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments and open-ended product and operational questions
Comfortable working with structured data in Excel or similar tools
Exposure to SQL or data platforms is a bonus, but not required
