About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the 715th Test Squadron at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC)
Assist in managing and coordinating complex aerospace test projects
Support project goals, reporting, decision-making, and administration
Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of test projects from initial concept through data analysis and final reporting
Provide assistance and advice for efficient management and operation of the organization
Act as a liaison between government customers, engineering teams, and project leadership
Support development and maintenance of project documentation, including cost reports, schedules, test plans, progress reports, project management reviews, and technical summaries
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve management processes and procedures
Support procurement activities, project/program management tasks, acquisition programs, and organizational activities
Work with a multidisciplinary team of government and contractor personnel focused on hypersonic testing capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related technical field)
Demonstrated experience in a project or program support role, preferably within a Department of Defense (DoD) or aerospace environment
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one
Experience providing A&AS support to a government or military organization preferred
Familiarity with the operations of the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) and its test facilities preferred
Understanding of aerospace and defense acquisition and testing processes preferred
Knowledge of hypersonic systems or test and evaluation is a significant plus
U.S. citizenship is required for most positions
