About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support and technical assistance for service routines in the areas of planning, monitoring, management, and operational control
  • Monitor and address identified deviations
  • Interact with stakeholders
  • Record information in the system
  • Prepare reports in accordance with the governance established for each type of request
  • Work with UN-BC/SE and its Sector Management teams on administrative and procurement-related requests
  • Organize appointment schedules
  • Welcome employees and visitors
  • Request and control travel and transportation arrangements
  • Control material resources, equipment, and systems
  • Support human resources routines, including attendance tracking, vacation, and training
  • Organize, classify, file, and control documents and information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or technical qualification in Administration, Accounting, Commerce, International Trade, Building Construction, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Data Processing
  • Related courses, subject to approval by the oversight team
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of BI tools, including Power BI and Spotfire, for processing information and preparing management reports
  • Basic knowledge of business writing
