About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Architect, develop, and evolve integration solutions using Informatica IDMC/CDI
  • Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise and cloud environments
  • Define development, architecture, naming, parameterization, and component-reuse standards
  • Develop and review mappings, tasks, taskflows, and integration frameworks
  • Define batch, incremental, CDC, and near-real-time ingestion strategies
  • Design integrations involving databases, APIs, files, SaaS applications, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse platforms
  • Develop and optimize solutions using advanced SQL and Python
  • Implement and guide performance-tuning strategies, including Pushdown Optimization
  • Define standards for error handling, logging, auditing, reconciliation, and observability
  • Support decisions related to data architecture and modeling
  • Structure CI/CD processes and deployment strategies for IDMC solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards and best practices
  • Analyze and resolve critical issues in production environments
  • Support estimates, technical planning, and implementation strategy
  • Translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Lead technical discussions with clients, architects, and stakeholders
  • Serve as a technical reference and mentor for junior and mid-level professionals
  • Evaluate new IDMC features and propose improvements to architecture and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience with Informatica IDMC/IICS, particularly Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
  • Advanced experience in ETL/ELT solution architecture and development
  • Advanced SQL, including query optimization and large-volume data processing
  • Strong experience with Python for automation, integration, and data processing
  • Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse architectures
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or modern data platforms
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations
  • Knowledge of batch, near-real-time, and event-driven integration patterns
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and deployment automation
  • Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting complex pipelines
  • Knowledge of data security, governance, and quality
  • Experience defining development standards and best practices
  • Technical leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently in highly complex environments
  • Preferably 6+ years of experience in Data Integration, ETL/ELT, or Data Engineering, with solid, proven experience in Informatica IDMC/CDI and delivering medium- to high-complexity solutions
  • Preferred qualifications: experience with other IDMC modules, PowerCenter-to-IDMC migrations, advanced Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, Kafka, Terraform, regulated environments, Informatica/Azure/Databricks/Snowflake certifications, and advanced or fluent English
