About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyse the existing Kondor+ integration landscape, covering inbound and outbound interfaces
- Assess upgrade impacts on interfaces, APIs, message structures, file exchanges and integration components
- Design, implement or coordinate required Kondor+ interface modifications
- Support integrations with market data, electronic trading, payment and settlement, SWIFT/messaging, core banking, accounting, risk, regulatory, data warehouse and reporting systems
- Troubleshoot failed interfaces and data-processing issues
- Validate end-to-end STP flows through Kondor+ and downstream applications
- Support API, messaging, middleware and file-based integrations
- Support interface reconciliation during SIT, UAT, migration rehearsals and production cutover
- Analyse the Kondor+ data landscape and identify upgrade-impacted data
- Define migration/conversion approaches with solution architects and functional SMEs
- Support migration or conversion of static/reference and transactional data
- Develop SQL queries and reconciliation controls for migrated/upgraded data
- Reconcile trades, static/reference data, positions, cashflows, market data, valuations, accounting balances/postings and interface data
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies
- Support migration dry runs, cutover rehearsals, post-go-live reconciliation and hypercare
- Analyse database environments, schemas, tables, relationships and dependencies
- Support database prerequisites, upgrade/conversion scripts, backup, restore and rollback activities
- Develop SQL scripts for migration, testing and reconciliation
- Identify database performance issues and support batch/EOD performance analysis
- Coordinate with client DBAs on configuration, capacity, performance and operational requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong hands-on technical experience with Kondor+ / Fusion Kondor / Finastra Kondor
- Previous experience working on at least one Kondor+ implementation, upgrade or migration
- Demonstrable experience with Kondor+ interfaces and integration mechanisms
- Good understanding of the Kondor+ database/data model and data structures
- Strong SQL skills and ability to independently interrogate and reconcile Kondor+ data
- Experience analysing Kondor+ trade, static/reference, position and/or accounting data
- Experience troubleshooting data and integration issues across Kondor+ and surrounding systems
- Experience with APIs, messaging/middleware and file-based integration patterns used within Kondor environments
- Understanding of treasury products and end-to-end trade lifecycle
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, migration rehearsals and production cutovers for Kondor+
- Previous Kondor+ version upgrade experience
- Experience migrating between different Kondor+ releases and/or technical architectures
- Experience with the specific database technology used by the client's Kondor+ installation
- SWIFT / ISO 20022 integration experience
- Experience integrating Kondor+ with market data, payment/settlement, GL/accounting, risk and data warehouse platforms
- Experience with Kondor+ APIs and modern integration patterns
- Experience with large-volume trade/data reconciliation
- Experience troubleshooting Kondor+ EOD/batch-processing performance
