Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop enterprise integrations using Azure Integration Services and Java Spring Boot
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Develop and configure APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)
Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
Develop messaging and event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus, queues, topics, and subscriptions
Integrate enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, databases, external partners, and Microsoft Azure services
Implement message transformation, validation, routing, orchestration, exception handling, and retry mechanisms
Develop reusable integration components and services aligned with enterprise standards
Implement authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Managed Identities
Secure credentials, secrets, certificates, and connection information using Azure Key Vault
Implement logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, correlation IDs, and operational telemetry
Develop unit tests, automated API tests, and integration tests
Collaborate with the Integration Lead, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and external vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced/fluent English — mandatory (assessed during the interview)
More than 5 years of experience in software development and enterprise integration
Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot
Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices
Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
Experience with Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, subscriptions, and message processing
Strong understanding of synchronous, asynchronous, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns
Experience with JSON, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security
Experience implementing exception handling, retry mechanisms, dead-letter processing, logging, and monitoring
Experience with additional Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions is desirable
Experience integrating SaaS and enterprise platforms is desirable
Experience with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Oracle, and SQL is desirable
Experience in the Energy & Utilities or Retail Energy sectors is desirable
