About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the implementation of enterprise integrations for a large-scale Automation Modernization program in the Energy sector.
  • Define enterprise API standards, event-driven architecture, and implementation strategies across multiple business platforms.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and external vendors.
  • Design, provision, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Implement Azure networking, including Virtual Networks, subnets, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, routing, and connectivity.
  • Configure and manage App Service, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and related services.
  • Implement identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, Service Principals, and RBAC.
  • Configure Azure Key Vault and securely manage secrets, certificates, and credentials.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Implement cloud security controls, network security, encryption, and enterprise Azure governance standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced/fluent English – mandatory (assessed during the interview)
  • More than 8 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps.
  • More than 6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity, and access management.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Experience supporting Azure Integration Services, including API Management and Service Bus.
  • Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, APIM, Service Bus, Private Endpoints, Application Insights.
  • Experience supporting Java Spring Boot microservices and Angular applications on Azure.
  • Experience with containerized applications and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Experience with enterprise network connectivity, private endpoints, firewalls, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience in the Energy & Utilities or Energy Retail sectors.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON, Oracle, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI.
