About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the owner of the official data source (Golden Source) for the Security, Fund, Counterparty, and Pricing Master Data domains on the Private Credit platform
- Define and ensure data standards, naming conventions, mandatory attributes, and validation rules
- Maintain corporate issuer and credit borrower structures and hierarchies
- Conduct research using public records, official documents, and rating agency sources
- Develop, execute, and improve automated data quality controls, exception reports, and alerts
- Log, track, and resolve exceptions through root-cause identification
- Maintain Maker-Checker processes, audit trails, and supporting evidence for audits, SOC controls, and regulatory reviews
- Act as the Brazil-based partner for New York teams across Trade Support, Middle Office, Portfolio Finance, Valuations, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Investments
- Work with Agent Banks, Custodians, Fund Administrators, and Data Vendors to investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Escalate issues clearly and proactively, providing context, risk impact, and proposed resolutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- For Senior Analyst level, at least 6 years of experience in Investment Operations, Reference/Master Data Management, Middle Office, Back Office, Fund Administration, Loan Operations, or Data Governance
- Practical knowledge of at least one major asset class
- Knowledge of the financial instrument lifecycle
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with large data volumes, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations
- Availability and flexibility to work according to New York hours
- Practical experience with BlackRock Aladdin, WSO, Geneva, SimCorp, or similar platforms is desirable
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Markit/IHS, Refinitiv Eikon/LSEG, ICE, S&P Capital IQ, PitchBook, or LSTA/LPC is desirable
- Knowledge of SQL is desirable
- Knowledge of Python or VBA is desirable
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is desirable
- Familiarity with Private Credit operations is desirable
