About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, solution engineers, and Agile teams to validate Guidewire solutions
  • Perform functional, integration, API, regression, end-to-end, and automation testing
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data
  • Validate business processes across Guidewire applications
  • Identify, document, retest, and track defects through resolution
  • Review user stories and acceptance criteria for testability and quality coverage
  • Participate in sprint testing and release validation
  • Perform API and interface testing using approved tools
  • Troubleshoot issues and validate fixes with developers and business analysts
  • Contribute to automated regression test development and maintenance
  • Support environment validation, test data preparation, and deployment verification
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous testing and delivery
  • Communicate risks, blockers, and testing status while contributing to quality improvement and knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of QA experience in Agile software delivery environments
  • Minimum 2 years of Guidewire testing experience, mainly Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Experience testing Guidewire applications, mainly Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Knowledge of Property and Casualty or Business Insurance processes
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Rally)
  • Experience with API testing and integration validation
  • Experience with test planning, test execution, defect lifecycle management, and SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with policy premium validation and policy forms validation
  • Participation in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, system demos, retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt activities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with agile team members and product owners
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Guidewire certification or any testing certification required
