About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test and/or deploy system functionality
  • Provide guidance, mentorship and training to Agile Dev team members
  • Interpret customer needs into viable solutions and contribute to system design
  • Break down features and write and refine user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Execute Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
  • Perform impact assessments across people, processes and technology
  • Support implementation activities, troubleshoot user/system environmental issues and provide training
  • Support Lean Business cases and break epics into features
  • Identify and raise functional design issues and risks and offer alternative solutions
  • Work with the Product Owner to align code and acceptance tests with desired functionality
  • Code programs, objects and components across multiple applications and configure packaged software
  • Review and validate application technical designs
  • Analyze existing systems and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Research and develop automation techniques
  • Document and implement programs according to installation standards
  • Analyze requirements for backup, security, recovery, balancing and controls
  • Analyze and document data conversion and data modeling approaches
  • Quality-check program code, related objects and documentation
  • Deliver working code each sprint
  • Develop, document, execute and maintain test cases and test data
  • Identify complex application-testing errors, troubleshoot results and perform root cause analysis
  • Report test plan status through defect logs and tracking systems
  • Conduct testing audits and define advanced test plans
  • Contribute to testing standards, best practices and overall test strategy
