About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and immediately escalate security vulnerabilities
- Identify critical/high-severity issues including Log4j, SQL Injection, XSS, and authentication bypass
- Discuss vulnerabilities with Lead Architects and the FIS team, including impact assessment and resolution
- Identify zero-day vulnerabilities in Salesforce, customer-facing, and agent-facing applications
- Execute security testing before every release
- Perform continuous testing and cross-team communication to support timely remediation
- Validate functional scenarios from a security perspective
- Identify and report functional bugs during security assessments
- Ensure developer fixes do not introduce or reintroduce security risks
- Improve application stability, resilience, and quality through cross-functional testing
- Help maintain compliance requirements and support audits throughout the SDLC
- Provide support during releases, change requests, and urgent production issues
- Perform comprehensive security testing for Farmers applications, including CSS, BW CSS, Farmers.com, and ALTA
- Prioritize security testing of customer-facing Farmers applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience or proficiency with Burp Suite
