About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test and/or deploy system functionality
- Provide guidance, mentorship and training to Agile Dev team members
- Interpret customer needs into viable solutions and contribute to system design
- Break down features and write and refine user stories with acceptance criteria
- Execute Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Perform impact assessments across people, processes and technology
- Support implementation activities, troubleshoot user and system environmental issues, and provide training
- Identify and raise issues and risks with functional design and offer alternative solutions
- Code programs, objects and components across multiple applications and configure packaged software
- Review and validate application technical designs
- Research and develop automation techniques
- Document and implement programs according to installation standards
- Analyze backup, security, restart/recovery, balancing and controls requirements
- Analyze and document data conversion and data modeling requirements
- Quality-check program code, related objects and documentation
- Deliver working code each sprint
- Develop, execute and maintain test cases and test data
- Perform root cause analysis and report test execution status through defect tracking systems
- Define advanced test plans and contribute to testing standards and best practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, PI Planning, Sprint Planning, demos, retrospectives, Inspect & Adapt, daily stand-ups and backlog refinement
- Demonstrate working code to Product and Business Owners
- Support continuous exploration, integration and deployment for DevOps and the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
- Conduct research, design, prototyping and exploration activities
- Participate in Communities of Practice and facilitate sessions when needed
- Foster knowledge sharing, continuous learning and continuous improvement
