About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and manage application systems and web platforms
- Coordinate with suppliers and infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity teams
- Ensure the preventive, corrective, and evolutionary maintenance of the technology infrastructure supporting the organization’s critical systems
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and incidents
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure the continuity and reliability of application services
- Define and implement continuous improvements to infrastructure, technical documentation, system security, and performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field
- At least 5 years of experience in technology infrastructure operations and application/web systems support
- Proven experience in the preventive, corrective, and evolutionary maintenance of IT infrastructure
- Strong experience in on-premises environments, including physical servers, virtualization, networking, backups, application firewalls, and data center security
- Knowledge of system monitoring, performance analysis, and incident resolution in critical environments
- Knowledge of operational security, privilege management, network segmentation, system hardening, and compliance
- Experience implementing security measures and designing secure solutions in non-cloud environments
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Development background in technologies such as PHP and/or C#
- Experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement
- Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Lisbon
