About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure Commission Calculation and Reporting applications operate efficiently.
Plan production data loads and verify completion timeliness and accuracy.
Handle production incidents by leading impact and resolution analysis with various teams.
Support root cause documentation and implement lessons learned.
Liaise with business stakeholders to understand requirements and pain points and provide solution recommendations.
Support application deployment activities and troubleshoot environmental issues.
Recommend enhancements to existing processes to increase efficiency.
Build, test, and maintain calculation logic, formulas, workflows, and plan components within the Varicent ICM platform.
Translate yearly sales incentive compensation plans into functional technical requirements and implement them within the system.
Design, develop, and maintain customized dashboards and reports for sales representatives, managers, and executive leadership.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity, plan compliance, and alignment with internal financial controls, including SOX compliance.
Bridge sales strategy and technical execution to ensure commissions, bonuses, and performance metrics are calculated accurately, audit-ready, and delivered on time.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT application development, operations support, or a similar role.
Experience with Mainframe programs.
Experience working with any type of ICM (Varicent or SSIS).
Experience independently managing multiple concurrent assignments.
Detail oriented, quick learner, self-starter.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to articulate technical issues, root cause, and remediation plans in layman’s terms.
Experience working with SSIS and/or SSRS.
Eager to learn.
Experience working with Varicent is nice to have.
