About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage data infrastructure for all major modeling projects
- Manage requirements for data enhancements to improve analytics and data processes
- Lead special data and analytical projects
- Negotiate and set priorities with IT and BI resources to align projects with company goals
- Develop expertise in and represent analytic interests for new data mining tools and technologies
- Train other team members on data mining tools and technologies
- Develop and manage business certification of analytic-related data projects
- Manage assigned direct reports
- Function as a data/code trainer for the department
- Apply understanding of ETL/ELT data processes
- Manage nearshore and offshore teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience working as a Project Manager or relevant
- Hands-on experience working as a Data Engineer or relevant software experience
- Experience working with Agile methodology
- Strong understanding of programming languages like Python and SQL
- Background experience on ETL and orchestration
