About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and extensible software solutions
Build and enhance platform components and services supporting developer self-service capabilities
Collaborate with Platform Owners to define requirements and prioritize development activities
Continuously improve the platform experience
Integrate software solutions with existing CI/CD pipelines
Develop dynamic GitLab CI/CD pipelines using Python
Design and implement serverless, event-driven architectures across cloud platforms
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and testing processes
Support platform operations, reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, automation, and platform enablement
Build and evolve the Hardened OS Factory platform for securely delivering operating system images across public cloud providers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience working with major cloud providers, such as AWS; experience with Azure and GCP is nice to have
Strong hands-on experience in Python development
Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architecture patterns
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools including Terraform and Ansible
Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, particularly with GitLab CI/CD
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset
Experience working in large-scale, cloud-native, highly automated environments is highly desirable
Relevant certifications are a plus, including AWS Certifications and Kubernetes Certifications (CKA/CKAD or equivalent)
