About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement, configure, and ensure the operation of application systems and web platforms
- Coordinate with network, systems, cybersecurity, and supplier teams
- Ensure the preventive, corrective, and evolutionary maintenance of the technology infrastructure supporting critical systems
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Proactively identify and resolve potential incidents
- Implement continuous improvements to the infrastructure, performance, resilience, and availability of solutions
- Define and implement security measures
- Ensure the protection of systems and data and compliance with operational security best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field
- At least 5 years of experience managing, maintaining, and evolving technology infrastructures and application/web systems
- Solid experience in on-premises environments, including physical servers, virtualization, networks, backups, firewalls, and data center security
- Knowledge of operational security, privilege management, network segmentation, system hardening, and compliance
- Experience monitoring systems, resolving complex issues, and implementing continuous improvement measures
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Development background in technologies such as PHP and/or C#
- Ability to design secure solutions in environments without cloud resources
- Experience preparing technical documentation
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement
- Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Lisbon
