About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write and execute test cases
  • Interface regularly with customers
  • Reproduce issues and verify and validate fixes
  • Support remote testing
  • Work in a role requiring 5 days' presence at the Newbury office

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Good communication skills, with regular interfacing with customers
  • Knowledge of 2G, 4G and 5G technologies
  • Good understanding of core network elements: MSC, MGW, HLR, SMSC, HSS, SBC and IMS (TAS and CSCF)
  • Good protocol knowledge in SIP, Diameter, RTP, MEGACO, HTTP, GSM MAP and SS7/SIGTRAN
  • Good understanding of SMS, voice and data call flows with respect to network
  • Basic knowledge of IP and network provisioning systems
  • Troubleshooting and debugging skills using tools such as Wireshark
  • Basic Linux and scripting knowledge
  • Ability to obtain the required level of security clearance: BPSS, Security Clearance or Developed Vetting
