About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain serverless applications using Azure Functions, integrating with APIs, databases, and other Azure services
- Design and implement responsive, dynamic, and scalable front-end applications using Angular
- Develop back-end solutions using Node.js, .NET, or Python for Azure Functions
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment on Azure using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to create user-friendly applications
- Implement security standards including OAuth, JWT authentication, and role-based access control
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
- Stay current with Azure cloud advancements, Angular updates, and full-stack development best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and related PaaS offerings
- Expertise in Angular 12+ or latest versions, TypeScript, and modern frontend development principles
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
- Solid understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven programming
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB, SQL Server, or MongoDB
- Familiarity with Azure Storage solutions (Blob, Table, Queues) and Event Grid for handling messages
- Experience with unit testing and E2E testing frameworks including Jest, Jasmine, Karma, and Cypress
- Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD best practices
- Understanding of security best practices, including OWASP, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment
- Preferred: experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Preferred: knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Preferred: familiarity with AI/ML integration in Azure
- Preferred: prior experience in Retail, Finance, or Enterprise applications
