About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure end-to-end material availability through accurate supply, capacity, and MRP planning
- Translate strategic and tactical supply plans into executable material schedules
- Coordinate with suppliers, factories, warehousing, and procurement to resolve supply risks, exceptions, and delays
- Optimise material parameters including MOQ, lead times, and safety stock
- Oversee MRP processes and align purchase signals with global standards, policies, and master data requirements
- Manage supplier performance, confirmations, and logistics coordination
- Support business reviews by publishing material planning KPIs and conducting analytical deep dives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally on product changes, planning meetings, and strategic projects
- Ensure material readiness for new launches and operational shifts
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 to 8 years of experience in Material Planning
- Experience collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data sets
- Ability to execute supply, capacity, and MRP planning
- Ability to translate supply plans into executable material schedules
- Knowledge of supplier capacity, factory requirements, and contractual frameworks
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, factories, warehousing, and procurement
- Knowledge of material parameters such as MOQ, lead times, and safety stock
- Experience with MRP processes, purchase signals, global standards, policies, and master data requirements
- Ability to manage supplier performance, confirmations, and logistics coordination
- Experience publishing material planning KPIs and performing analytical deep dives
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally on product changes, planning meetings, and strategic projects
