About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a servant leader for a single team and stakeholders.
- Aid the team and Product Owner in managing and sequencing the backlog.
- Lead less complex teams with limited external team impact or dependencies.
- Eliminate impediments and resolve issues with support from the Release Train Engineer or other resources.
- Resolve and manage dependencies to support team improvement and promote high performance.
- Manage team performance in quality, predictability, flow and velocity; identify and resolve SAFe anti-patterns.
- Coach the team on Agile practices, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, self-management and self-organization.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised.
- Help manage interpersonal conflicts, challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, sprint planning, backlog refinement and Program Increment Planning preparation.
- Participate in Scrum Mastery Sync and Agile Release Train Sync sessions.
- Pursue continuous education in Agile practices.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Master Community of Practice to improve product delivery capability.
- Work with Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers to establish best practices and resolve issues, risks, conflicts and impediments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ year experience in an Agile environment or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master
- Experience working with stakeholders and working with nearshore and offshore teams.
- Excellent communication skills
