About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and analyze monthly budget variance, forecasting, and KPI reports, identifying key trends and business drivers
- Develop financial and business models to support business decisions
- Support annual strategic and financial planning, including consolidation and analysis
- Analyze expenses, vendors, and capital proposals, providing financial insights and recommendations
- Execute finance operations including AP/AR, reconciliations, banking transactions, and financial controls
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial information and documentation
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders on special projects, ad hoc analysis, and initiatives
- Lead or contribute to process improvement projects that improve efficiency and reduce operational risk
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably including financial analysis and finance operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fluent English
- Strong experience with financial analysis, reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Experience with AP/AR, banking operations, and financial controls
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with business and Finance stakeholders
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
- Valid, local legal authorization to work in Mexico at the time of hire
- CPA or CMA exam progress, MBA/Master’s coursework, or Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification is preferred
