About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and enhance backend applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Work on the development, maintenance, and integration of REST APIs and distributed solutions
- Lead stories and activities autonomously, taking ownership of requirements from refinement through deployment
- Develop solutions following best practices in architecture, code quality, unit testing, and security
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the quality, performance, and evolution of solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in Java 17, microservices, and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Security
- Experience with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito, as well as Swagger, Maven, Logback, and SLF4J
- Knowledge of MVC and Hexagonal Architecture, authentication and authorization, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB
- Experience consuming REST services and using Postman/Insomnia/Bruno, Git, Bitbucket or GitHub, SonarQube/SonarLint, CI/CD, and Agile and DevOps environments
- Proactive, collaborative profile with strong communication skills and the autonomy to take ownership of activities from refinement through deployment
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, observability, Clean Code, SOLID, TDD/BDD, AI-assisted development, and Azure certification will be considered a plus
