About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, test, and deploy scalable applications and services using Python and/or Java
- Design and implement features, APIs, and integrations across the application stack
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through enhancements and refactoring
- Collaborate with Product, Network Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams
- Drive improvements in development processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and engineering practices
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architecture reviews
- Mentor junior developers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline
- 5–7 years of software development experience with Python and/or Java in enterprise environments
- Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and microservices
- Proven experience working within Telecom Networks and Services environments
- Hands-on experience with SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and system architecture
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
