About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain Siemens Teamcenter applications, customizations, and related software components
- Develop and support Teamcenter data models, BMIDE configurations, security settings, workflows, and custom handlers
- Implement custom solutions using Java, C++, ITK, SOA, and Teamcenter APIs
- Collaborate with engineering stakeholders, solution architects, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver PLM solutions
- Support integrations between Teamcenter, NX, engineering applications, and enterprise systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Teamcenter application, customization, workflow, and integration issues
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Teamcenter configurations, customizations, and integrations
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for Teamcenter development and implementation activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens Teamcenter development and customization
- Strong expertise with Teamcenter Unified Architecture and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes
- Experience with Java, C++, ITK, SOA, and Teamcenter APIs
- Hands-on experience with BMIDE configuration and Teamcenter data model customization
- Experience configuring and supporting Teamcenter security models, access controls, and user management
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter workflow configuration, custom handlers, and process automation
- Experience customizing and implementing Active Workspace (AWC)
- Experience integrating Teamcenter with enterprise applications and engineering tools
- Knowledge of Engineering Data Management, Product Structures, Configuration Management, and BOM management
- Experience with software development best practices, version control systems, and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Experience creating technical design documents and deployment documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Active Integration Gateway (AIG)
- Knowledge of Easy Plan and Requirements Management modules
- Experience with Intelligence Center X and Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics
- Exposure to Mendix application development
- Experience with NX and Teamcenter integration
- Knowledge of Python, C#, or Perl
- Experience supporting large-scale PLM transformation or modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with cloud-based Teamcenter deployments and DevOps automation practices
