Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced Python expertise with C++ experience for performance-critical applications
- Ability to develop maintainable, tested, version-controlled software following engineering best practices
- Experience training and maintaining detection/classification models
- Experience building annotated image datasets
- Experience evaluating model performance against operational metrics
- Experience deploying GPU-based inference solutions
- Strong understanding of OpenCV, image processing, camera calibration, distortion correction, and barcode/DataMatrix decoding
- Hands-on experience with industrial cameras, lenses, lighting, exposure settings, focus, depth of field, and motion analysis
- Ability to diagnose imaging issues and recommend hardware or configuration changes
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with networking diagnostics, packet analysis, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Integration experience using REST/gRPC and connecting on-premises systems with cloud environments such as AWS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a comparable discipline
- 10+ years of engineering experience in production machine vision systems
- Extensive engineering experience with machine vision or applied computer vision systems operating in live production environments
