About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, direct, and manage complex, multi-team projects from initiation through implementation
  • Engage Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, and Technology delivery team members to understand business needs
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technology solutions
  • Manage project costs, resources, change requests, risks and issues, and program governance tasks
  • Provide regular project status updates to maximize business benefit
  • Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, effort, approach, and critical milestones
  • Coordinate communications and facilitate resolution of risks and issues
  • Create and present dashboards and status reports to management
  • Facilitate discussions focused on improvement opportunities
  • Ensure end-to-end testing and smooth production deployment of application changes
  • Ensure applications and processes comply with financial regulations, security standards, and internal control policies and procedures
  • Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Work closely with upper management and cross-functional departments to maintain project scope, direction, and schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years minimum experience leading Technology Change Delivery, preferably in Financial Services
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Deep understanding of Waterfall, Agile Scrum, and Agile KanBan methodologies, roles, and ceremonies
  • Experience implementing complex technical integrations (APIs, web services, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions
  • Ability to assess cross-team dependencies, determine importance, urgency, and risk, and make timely decisions
  • Ability to identify problem causes, process relevant information, generate solutions, and make recommendations
  • Proven ability to be a partner and driver of change
  • Detail-oriented with a strong tactical execution set
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholder expectations, and competing priorities
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, businesses, and management levels
  • Ability to organize and establish plans from ad hoc and inconsistent practices, disciplined processes, and specific objectives
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing communication skills (written/verbal)
