About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the growth and achievement of CareAllies’ financial and business objectives through strategic planning, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Help manage the Company’s FP&A processes, financial forecasting and actuals, long-range planning, value-based care contract performance, and financial system implementation
  • Support or manage key organizational financial initiatives, including FP&A, short-term integration, VBC scenario analytics, growth opportunities, and VBC contract modeling
  • Report to and work closely with the VP of FP&A
  • Collaborate with functional executive leaders, including the CFO and other functional leaders
  • Initiate process improvements and support financial management in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance
  • 5 years’ experience in FP&A, market finance, strategic and/or financial area
  • Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills, including multi-year financial models with various assumptions and scenarios
  • Independent problem solver with team-oriented mindset
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to tell a financial story and create impactful slides
  • Highly analytical with ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, with emphasis on advanced MS Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to manage a wide range of projects and dynamic priorities
  • Ability to communicate technical and basic business concepts with team members and internal/external stakeholders
  • Focus on compliance, risk management and process controls
  • Alignment with the Company’s corporate mission/values and drive to innovate within healthcare
  • Positive attitude and excitement to learn and develop
  • Supports an open, inclusive culture that supports learning and encourages collaboration
  • Preferred: Investment banking, consulting, corporate FP&A, or other highly strategic role experience
  • Preferred: Experience in the health care industry and value-based care
  • Preferred: Long-range planning experience with managing a core financial model
  • Preferred: Experience owning consolidated company budget/forecasting cycles and working cross-functionally with budget owners
  • Preferred: Experience within a finance team at a small company (less than 1,000 people)
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Must live within a 50-mile radius of Oak Brook, Illinois; remote work is limited to the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii
