About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maximize sales of dock and door equipment, parts, and service within a specified territory to meet sales objectives
  • Develop existing accounts and seek new business
  • Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop business relationships
  • Consult and problem solve to enhance the Company’s position in existing and target accounts
  • Develop a territory management plan to maximize customer time
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts
  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations
  • Prepare quotations and customer correspondence
  • Use online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity
  • Discuss sales activities with the Sales Manager
  • Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings
  • Travel to the Northern Kentucky branch as training may require

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demonstrations
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program is a plus
