About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks
- Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks
- Maintain a service van and its inventory
- Process paperwork after completion of each job
Requirements
What you’ll need- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
- Familiar with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment
- Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
- Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and industry-related training preferred
