About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist and support the Quality Engineering role of an assigned project under general supervision
- Review and interpret purchased and manufactured product drawings
- Learn defect evaluation techniques
- Gain understanding of inspection and quality test equipment capabilities
- Review opportunities for improvement and help identify solutions using data
- Work closely with production employees and supporting roles to gather data
- Work with external vendors and suppliers to support problem solving and solutions
- Complete assignments and projects demonstrating key learnings and knowledge of Quality Engineering principles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidate must be enrolled and pursuing an Engineering degree with an interest in Quality
- Proficiency in using Excel and pivot tables
- Good analytical and communication skills required
- Must have own reliable means of transportation
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Temporary visa holders or individuals who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for hire
