About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee all rental and used equipment activities while maximizing financial performance
  • Ensure quality shop work and timely shipment to the customer
  • Manage buying and selling of equipment, including possible equipment transfers between branches
  • Manage inventory, maintenance, and depreciation of equipment
  • Oversee scheduling, delivery, and pickup of all equipment
  • Develop sales strategies and coordinate with other departments
  • Set pricing for used equipment
  • Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers
  • Accompany sales personnel to perform trade-in evaluations at customer facilities
  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and counsel personnel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to safely operate lift trucks
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Business or Marketing
  • Three to five years experience managing a rental/used fleet with lift trucks and batteries preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, time management, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and department performance reports
  • Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel and Word programs
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
