About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Clean factory lunchrooms and restrooms
- Empty shop waste containers
- Use manual and automatic floor scrubbing equipment
- Run trash compactor
- Help with company snow removal
- Use ladders to clean light fixtures and vents
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma
- Must be able to stay stationary/traverse 8/10 hrs. per shift
- Frequently bend, squat, push/pull, and occasionally crawl, climb, reach above shoulder level, kneel, and balance
- Frequent lifting and carrying frequently from 0 to 30 lbs., and occasionally from 30 to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form effectively with people
- Must be able to see and do simple but firm grasping with both hands
- Must be able to work in an environment that includes exposure to detergents, dust, solvents, and oil
- Must be able to read and follow directions on labels of cleaning solutions
- Must be able to analyze and reason
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; temporary visas and sponsorship are not eligible
- Prior experience beneficial
