About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate the sales experience for prospective members
- Handle inbound calls for individual vision insurance plans, dental insurance, and discount plans
- Efficiently handle a large quantity of inbound sales calls
- Identify opportunities to sell, up-sell, and cross-sell Careington products
- Answer phone calls timely and address callers’ questions completely
- Maintain thorough knowledge of sales campaigns running through the H.P.S.U
- Handle insured and non-insured sales calls
- Work with the team to exceed sales goals set by management
- Participate in six weeks of initial remote training
- Work post-training hours from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday with one day off, plus Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside in Texas, Alabama, North Carolina, Nevada, Florida, or Arizona
- Current Group 1 Life & Health License required
- Ability to be Certified for Medicare
- Phone sales experience
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Self-motivated, commission-driven, and goal-oriented
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Ability to retain sales campaign knowledge and apply learned sales tactics
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone demeanor and superb listening skills
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to adapt to departmental changes
- Group 1 Life & Health Licensed Agent
- College degree preferred but not required
- Interest and experience in inbound and outbound sales calls
- Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Applications
- Ability to be Certified Agent for Medicare
