Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and validate language services invoices for accuracy, completeness, and contract alignment
  • Identify billing discrepancies, trends, and errors affecting payment integrity
  • Coordinate invoice corrections with vendors and internal teams
  • Track invoice processing timelines and resolve outstanding billing issues
  • Coordinate quality control and process improvement projects for language services invoices
  • Engage interpreter service vendors regarding billing, payment status, and data integrity
  • Support vendors with invoice requirements, corrections, and submission standards
  • Monitor vendor billing accuracy, data quality, and performance
  • Create and manage vendor and contractor quality dashboards and tools
  • Maintain and analyze language services, invoice, contract, and Meaningful Language Access data
  • Validate key datasets and support MLA metric reporting and submissions
  • Develop and maintain tools, reports, and dashboards for vendor quality, billing accuracy, and operational performance
  • Track interpreter services budget and costs
  • Analyze invoice, vendor, and operational data and communicate findings and recommendations
  • Coordinate billing and data deliverables from strategic language access plans
  • Support Member Engagement reporting, survey data, incentive program data, operational metrics, and dashboard initiatives
  • Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional workgroups
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for billing, data validation, and vendor processes
  • Identify workflow improvements and strengthen data integrity
  • Communicate invoice status, trends, and risks to partners and teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, data analysis or operations support
  • Experience working with Excel and large datasets
  • Preferred: experience with healthcare billing, Medicaid, OHP, or managed care environments
  • Preferred: experience with interpreter services, language access programs, or similar delivery programs
  • Preferred: experience supporting reporting, operational tracking, or process improvement activities
  • Familiarity with current laws and best practices for interpreting services
  • Knowledge of basic managed care concepts, the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and Medicare
  • Knowledge of program and project management tools and recordkeeping
  • Understanding of operational reporting, performance metrics, data analysis, and program evaluation concepts
  • Knowledge of data management, data validation, and data quality practices
  • Familiarity with dashboarding and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data validation, formulas, and analysis
  • Ability to analyze operational and billing data, identify trends and discrepancies, and communicate findings
  • Ability to maintain reports and dashboards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups
  • Ability to see, read, and hear for at least 6 hours/day
  • Ability to speak clearly and perform repetitive finger and wrist movement for at least 3-6 hours/day
